Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA)

IMHA is a serious medical condition where the immune system inadvertently destroys it own red blood cells.  Its victims (which includes humans as well) are literally starved for oxygen.  It is the most common blood-immune disorder affecting our companion animals, yet today there is no cure.  Research is desperately needed.

OUR MISSION

Mica's IMHA Research & Fund is dedicated to funding research that leads to effective diagnostic tools, treatments and ultimately a cure for immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA) and also to raise awareness of ALL immune-mediated disease.
